Page Initialing Requests

You can choose whether your document requires each signatory to initial pages or not.

There are a few methods to achieve this:

Set up initialing for one document

If you are using the portal to set up your document you can drag and drop Initial requests onto any page you require to be initialed.  However, if you need all pages to be initialed then it's quicker select this option when setting up the document:

Set up initialing within your template

If setting up the initialing on each document is not efficient, then add a SignatureSense tag into your document so that it's done automatically.

The tag text for "everyone initials all pages" is:

{ss:FC_InitialPages=True}

This text can go anywhere in your document and will be detected by SignatureSense.

Alternatively, you can choose who and where an initial request is made throughout the document:

{ss:IN_sig1}

In fact, you can do this even if Initial Pages is also set for all.  I.e. you can have every page initialed and also specific locations.

Before using the above tags in your document template it's worth reading this introduction to adding SignatureSense tags into your document.  For example you will learn that _sig1 can actually be any reference you choose (_LL1 might mean landlord 1 and _TT2 might mean Tenant 2 etc).
