How to Cancel a Document

Documents sent for signing can be cancelled / retracted at any time if not yet signed by all the signatories. 

These documents may have been sent via the SignatureSense portal or through other connected platforms using our API.

1. Locate the Document

Once the document is located you will see there is a "Cancel Document" link in red as shown below.
Click on this link to begin the cancellation process.



2. Cancel the Document

A 'Cancel Document' window will appear, as shown in the image below.

  • Optionally, you can choose to notify the signatories via email by selecting the appropriate checkbox.

  • Click 'Continue' to confirm and cancel/retract the document.

Once cancelled this process cannot be undone.
